The Bluethroat, Luscinia svecica, is lumped in with the Old World Flycatchers, but was for a long time thought to be a Thrush.
It primarily lives in Europe and Asia, but also lives on the western coast of Alaska. It migrates south in the winter.
It eats primarily insects and other invertebrates.
Its coloration is quite distinctive.
