Motmots - MomotidaeThese are beautiful birds of the tropics in the Western Hemisphere.
Most of the species are easily recognized because the tail feathers have a portion of the quill that is bare. That makes the end of the tail look like a raquet.
There are 10 species that range from Mexico to South America.
