Spotted Pardalote

Pardalotus punctatus

Mar 10

The Spotted Pardalote, Pardalotus punctatus is a tiny bird from Australia. Although it is one of the smallest birds on that continent, it is also very colorful.

They usually nest in tunnels and are often hard to see. Despite that, I was able to find some spectacular photos from my usual contributors.

Classification:

Order: Passeriformes
Family: Pardalotidae
Genus: Pardalotus
Species: P. punctatus
