Southern Screamers are strange looking birds that appear to be a cross between a goose and a pheasant. This is the largest of the 3 species of screamers.
These birds have spikes along the front of the wings which the birds use when fighting each other or defending themselves.
They live in we lowlands of the area of SE Peru, southern Brazil and northern Argentina.
