The Peruvian Diving-petrel is a small bird found at sea off the coast of Chile and Peru.
This bird is endangered primarily because of the need for fertilizer. It nests in burrows that it digs in guano. The guano has been heavily collected for use by farmers. Because of that, it is now only known to breed on four islands.
